TDSA’s first grade is getting ready for the coming Purim by learning all about the four mitzvos of the day. Then each girl chose which mitzvah to depict on her clown using a prop. The finished products are adorable and the girls’ creativity and understanding of the mitzvos of Purim really shone through.

As our students go through the year in Art Class they are exposed to a number of different artistic techniques. Right now, 1st grade students are learning about the artist Henry Matisse and imitating his art style using watercolor paint. The second graders are practicing with an entirely different medium as they learn to master oil pastels.

Mrs. Bendicoff's 5G Class visited the Georgia State Capital on Monday and enjoyed a packed tour that included the building, the state senate chamber, where they watched the senate in session, and a fun scavenger hunt through the fourth floor museum!

Mazal Tov to the boys  Rabbi Hiller’s 2B class on receiving their Chumashim. They started their Mesibas Chumash by laining and translating the pesukim they learned. They then demonstrated their understanding of the material by answering questions about it! The boys’ parents and Rabbeim are bursting with pride in their skills and abilities. May they continue to learn and grow with their new Chumashim!

Our Kitah K practiced their math skills and flexed their Chesed muscles by collecting over 100 food items and 100 dollars for Yad L'Yad in honor of the 100th day of school on Monday, February 24th.

7th graders put on their detective caps today and experienced how we use biology to solve mysteries. Led by the amazing Georgia State Bio Bus team, the seventh graders learned how to blood type, identify fingerprints and run electrophoresis to match DNA samples. For the students it was thrilling to see practical science in action.

Who says parents can't play games? Not us! Our Kindergarten through third grade parents got together this Motze Shabbos to socialize, eat and play board games! Thank you to our Parent Engagement Committee for putting together this fun Game Night Event!

Mazal Tov to Rabbi Perton’s Kittah Alef! All their hard work and practicing paid off. Their Siddur Play was beautiful and they sang and performed wonderfully! The students beamed with joy when receiving their very own siddurim and we know they will use them to grow and connect with Hashem through tefillah!

Class 3G became master multiplication bakers as they utilized the multiplication skills they learned in class to solve real-world problems and fun bakery challenges.

Kitah K welcomed their Sabbas and Savtas to their class in honor of the letter "Samach." They did projects, sang songs, showed off tricks and demonstrated to their grandparents what Kitah K at TDSA is all about.
