"How To" Publish Your Own Book The girls in Miss Carter’s first grade class welcomed their parents and siblings to their class on Friday as they celebrated publishing their own “How To” book. The girls and their families enjoyed some delicious ice cream and read their books together. Then the girls signed each others’ copies of their books.
Mikvah Visit For the past two weeks Rabbi Oratz’s 8th Grade Gemorah Shiur has been “immersing” themselves in the study of Mikvot. After learning a tricky Sugya in the Gemara about Mikva, as well as a Shiur about the topic from R' Pransky, the boys went to visit the Mikvah in Toco Hills with Rabbi Feldman to witness the practical application of what they’ve learned.

Chagigas Chumash TDSA's second grade girls received their very own Chumashim! The girls put on a rousing performance complete with singing, a dance performance and a wonderful Hebrew Poem. Their families and their teachers are so proud of them and the girls can't wait to start learning Chumash "inside!"

Let's Scavenge Parts of Speech Mrs. Bolnick's third graders worked together to complete a word scavenger hunt around the school, they then sorted the words into their respective parts of speech and constructed funny and creative sentences to share with their classes.
Menorah Workshop with Rabbi Rubin The students in the second grade had a great time in Shop class creating and decorating their own menorahs. The students were able to flex their creative muscles using complex machinery while guided by the experienced Rabbi Rubin to construct menorahs out of metal and decorated them with cement and mosaics.

Getting to Know You Future TDSA students and their families joined TDSA staff and current students for a fun filled morning of Chanukah activities where they got to know all about our Kindergarten program and core curriculum as well as meet our teachers and administrators.
Super Sublimation Our 8th Grade students demonstrated their understanding of the different phases of matter by using dry ice and water to create rolling clouds of vapor using the chemical process of sublimation.
