This Sunday, TDSA opened its doors to incoming students to get them excited and ready for the coming school year. Future TDSA students and their families came to spend the morning with Morah Mindy and Morah Rivka as they led them in a series of activities designed to demonstrate various areas of our curriculum. Children constructed their own menorah models, decorated cookies, and made their own mini-Chanukah books. They colored cool puzzles, decorated Chesed cards to send to brighten someone’s Chanukah and practiced their dreidel spinning and math skills by completing a Dreidel bar graph. The program also included a wonderful Chanukah story read by Morah Rivka and a brachos party! Everyone had so much fun and now we can’t wait for next year!
