Combining sports with physics and neuroscience is not obvious at first.  When this guest speaker for the 8th grade boys explained how his products train baseball players and hockey refs in decision making, it became a lot more clear.  Here, he is demonstrating how batters can determine strikes and balls within 4/10 of a second.  While getting his doctorate at Georgia Tech, he became interested in the science of quick decision making.  He is now involved in training baseball players, hockey refs, and police cadettes.  This 8th grade class got to see first hand how their lessons in biology and physics could lead to lucrative and interesting careers.
