Kitah K has been busy preparing for the 100th day of school by doing 100 mitzvos. They went around to all the older classes and made posters encouraging people to donate food and money to Yad L’Yad in honor of the 100th day of school. This monday, they counted everything up and found that they had collected more than 100 dollars and 100 food items. They collected 191 dollar bills and 162 food items in all! The students practiced their math skills counting up everything and also flexed their Chesed muscles by doing something to help others in need. Thank you to all the students and families who contributed money and food to help make this happen.
