Learning on Lake Lanier

Fifth grade  boys and girls took their scientific learning to the lake this week. Led by Mrs. Castle, the students traveled to Lake Lanier and got to see the concepts they’re learning in science up close. Students got to travel out on a boat and perform a number of cool experiments with the lake water. They filtered the lake water and tested for turbidity, pH and even got to look under a microscope at zooplankton. Looks like learning science is a splash!
